Desserts

We don't eat many desserts, so when we do they're considered special. You guys eat loads of them—that's why we call you mangia cakes (cake eaters). And to be honest, you're very good at making them (especially the muffins).

But here are a few that might catch your eye. Chumbalotto is a very nice cross between biscotti and a loaf. Taralli is a cross between a donut and a pretzel. Panettone is Italian Christmas cake. Savoiardi are really cool, lemony cookies. And Anna Maria's Mom's Cookies are an Italian standard that nobody knows how to make anymore.
