Garlic Bread

About this recipe

Garlic bread is good for you. You can find garlic paste at any Italian supermarket or just make your own by roasting fresh garlic.

Instructions

Slice a baguette lengthwise. Combine garlic paste with butter and chopped fresh parsley, and then butter both sides.

Wrap in aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes or until top is slightly crusty. Remove from foil, slice, and serve. You could also just toast the baguette open-face in the oven.

Here’s another way to get more garlic into your life. My darling sister invented this one (and then tried to kiss me—yuck!). Slice a French loaf. Combine garlic paste (or minced fresh garlic) with butter and spread onto each slice. Mix chopped fresh parsley with Parmesan cheese and sprinkle over top. Broil until browned (just one side).
