Barbecued Shrimp Kabobs

Looking for something nice to add to your barbecue? Especially with steak? Buy those large tiger shrimp; they're always a hit.


Into a bowl, put:

  • 2 lb. cleaned and deveined shrimp (leave tails on).

Mix with:

  • 2-3 tbsp. olive oil,
  • 2-3 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley,
  • 2-3 cloves chopped fresh garlic,
  • ½ tsp. salt and ¼ tsp. chili pepper.

Leave covered in refrigerator for 2-3 hours (stir periodically). Place on skewers with peppers and cherry tomatoes. 

Barbecue over medium heat for approx. 5 minutes. While cooking, squeeze fresh lemon over top.


    Serve with lemon wedges and more cold beer.
